Intravenous ‘cocktails’ have many positive health benefits. Most of us are deficient in several key nutrients like vitamin B’s, vitamin C, vitamin D, amino acids, antioxidants and more. Evidence has shown that these common deficiencies lead to major health symptoms. Learn More>>

Corrective Exercise

Almost all of us require a few individualized, special exercises to maintain posture, avoid repetitive injuries, and maintain a better quality of life.  It helps to counteract the repetitive bad stuff that we do to ourselves through sports, training, and life in general.

Corrective exercise can be as simple as doing more exercises for glutes and low back to counteract all the sitting we do. It can mean stretching one side of a joint and strengthening the other side to make it function better. Taking a break from the cubicle to enjoy a 30 minute lunchtime walk is corrective exercise.

Personal trainers are trained on corrective exercises and specific training protocols to help reverse the destructive pounding we do to ourselves.

Doc Cody 3.JPG

Chiropractic care is a term used to describe a specific treatment in which the doctor uses gentle pressure to repair joint dysfunction and loss of motion, as well as restore neurological disruption.

Following a chiropractic adjustment, most patients feel immediate relief and improved mobility. Even if you do not have health complications, chiropractic treatment can aid in preventing spinal degeneration.

If you have ever been injured or are suffering from pain, you may notice that you have lost some of your range of motion and possibly even experience joint dysfunction. Many times, these symptoms are also accompanied by neurological disruption, leaving you in extreme pain or discomfort.

When a gentle pressure is applied to these injured or sensitive areas certain joints can be readjusted, relieving you of the pain you feel and promoting almost instant mobility. This is the basis of chiropractic care.

Andres earned his Masters in Kinesiology and Physiotherapy, at Córdoba National University in Argentina.

I specialize in orthopaedic rehabilitation, sports related injuries, pre and post surgery rehabilitation. Manual therapy and therapeutic exercise.

By definition Physio- derives from the Greek term phusis meaning ‘nature’,  while -therapy comes from the Greek word therapeia, or ‘healing’. Physiotherapy is an evidence based profession that relies on research to test and retest hypotheses to verify effectiveness of therapies performed by Physiotherapists.

Physiotherapy aims to restore, maintain, and make the most of a patient’s mobility, function, and well-being.

It takes a holistic approach that involves the patient directly in their own care, providing tools and strategies to achieve tissue healing, injury prevention, pain management among others.

Physiotherapy can be helpful for people of all ages with a wide range of health conditions including:

Conditions provoking back and neck pain, shoulder and knee pain, osteoarthritis, sports injuries, spinal cord and nerve roots related pain, post surgery rehabilitation, postural imbalances, etc.

Some of the main approaches used by physiotherapists include:

  • evaluation – Every treatment starts with a thorough interview, focused on the patient's experience,  assessment of  biomechanics, and different tests and evaluations that provide information allowing a precise diagnosis that will determine the nature of the therapeutic intervention.

  • education and advice – physiotherapists can give general advice about things that can affect your daily lives, such as posture and correct lifting or carrying techniques to help prevent injuries.

  • movement, tailored exercise and physical activity advice – exercises may be recommended to improve your general health and mobility, and to strengthen specific parts of your body.

  • manual therapy – where the physiotherapist uses their hands to help relieve pain and stiffness, and to encourage better movement of the body.

Ozone is found naturally in the body. Our white blood cells make ozone as part of the immune response when we are feeling sick. By using Ozone Therapy you are essentially boosting your natural immune system while simultaneously supporting your body in many other ways. It works very well for many chronic conditions associated with immune dysfunction, infections or inflammation. Ozone Therapy provides many powerful and healing health benefits with little or no side effects. Studies have shown that as part of an overall integrative treatment plan, it produces positive outcomes for treating a variety of conditions and illnesses such as chronic fatigue syndrome, Lyme disease, fibromyalgia, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic hepatitis, herpes, chemical sensitivities, macular degeneration, chronic bladder conditions, colitis, and Crohn’s disease. Ozone Therapy also suppresses infections by killing viruses, bacteria and yeast, especially those hard-to-treat, resistant pathogens that can be found in chronic conditions. It improves circulation by enhancing blood flow throughout the body and works as an immune modulator, meaning that it helps to keep your immune system in excellent working condition.

Ozone helps to increase the intake of oxygen by activating the DPG (diphosphoglycerate) enzyme. The DPG enzyme helps the cells get all the oxygen they need to function properly and efficiently and in doing so aids in killing anaerobic infections and the cell then gets the oxygen it needs to heal. Another way Ozone benefits the cells is by stimulating the mitochondria (which is the powerhouse of the cell) and in turn increasing the cells energy ensuring that they work efficiently to keep your body healthy. It also enhances your body’s ability to increase its antioxidant capabilities and protect the body against free radical damage, which is caused by unstable and uncharged molecules. Overall, Ozone Therapy is beneficial in the treatment of many conditions and in maintaining the body’s overall health and functioning.

Ozone steam saunas are becoming more and more popular around the United States as a treatment method for the illnesses listed above.

Personal Training

There are many benefits to hiring an expert to help you with almost anything. Fitness is no different. Most people simply don’t know how to get and stay fit. There is a lot to it. Quite often, other life commitments take over. Or perhaps the aging process and injuries have made fitness a little more difficult.

Many people make things worse by jumping into a fitness program that isn’t a good fit for them. Fitness injuries happen from lack of experience. Personal trainers help you learn proper techniques right from the start for safe and lasting results. They can help with all of the components of fitness: flexibility, strength, endurance and even nutrition. The accountability and encouragement helps too!
